Lucerne is located in the center of Switzerland, in Latin meaning “light”, that is, the city of light. According to historical records, in AD 840 Lucerne was called “Luciaria”, the name was sourcing from a legend on the light. Walking inside, it is reminding us of scenes exposure to the Middle Ages. Climbed on the Muse Ge wall mounted tower, the old town, lakes, snow-capped mountains are all at a glance. By the lake in Lucerne, there also stands two churches in the beautiful spire of Hauff, in the 8th century, Hauff church was a mission of the Benedictine monastery. The monastery was destroyed by fire in 1633, re- built, and built the most important literary Switzerland Revival-style church.
